Better Mounts Mod / Addon

Better Mounts Mod takes all the stuff you already use to get around and quietly turns it into a legit travel system. Instead of everyone sprinting on foot while one guy hogs the horse, mounts become real team transport. Horses, mules, and donkeys can carry two people, so you and a friend can ride out together instead of chasing each other across the map. Camels go even further and can seat up to three players, and llamas can carry two as well, which is perfect for goofy caravan roleplay or just moving a whole squad between bases.

On top of that, your metal rides get love too. Minecarts get a speed boost, so rails stop feeling like a slow meme and start acting like an actual fast-travel line. Long tunnels, big overworld railways, or PvP mini-games with carts all feel way smoother when the carts actually move at a pace that matches the work you put into building the track. It still feels like vanilla transport, just tuned so it doesn’t waste your time.

The water change is honestly one of the best parts. Normally, the second your mount touches water, the game decides you’re done riding. With Better Mounts, horses, camels, and llamas stay mounted when you cross rivers and lakes, so your journey doesn’t get chopped into a bunch of awkward dismount/remount moments. You just ride straight through, keep your momentum, and keep exploring.

What’s nice is that the addon doesn’t mess with how you get these mobs in the first place. Taming and basic behavior stay the same, so it still feels like regular Minecraft – just upgraded. That makes Better Mounts Mod perfect for survival, adventure maps, and PvP worlds where you want cleaner, more cooperative movement without introducing weird tech or overpowered teleport systems. Mounts become faster, more useful, and way more fun to use, but they still fit naturally into the game you already know.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
