QB Doors Mod is basically a dream pack if you’re tired of every build using the same handful of doors. Instead of forcing modern houses, fantasy castles, labs, and adventure maps to all share one boring look, this addon gives you a huge range of doors that still feel vanilla-friendly. You get full-height doors, slim pane-style doors that line up with glass and bars, plus single-block hatch doors that work like sideways trapdoors. Wood, stone, metal, glass, hay – it’s all here, and everything is designed to blend into normal survival builds instead of screaming “modded” in your face.
The cool part is how far the detail goes. There are colored wooden doors for all sixteen dyes, stone and quartz doors for clean builds, gold and netherite doors if you want something rich and overkill, and special variants that line up perfectly with iron bars, copper bars in all oxidation stages, and glass panes. Hatch doors can hinge on the side, so you can do secret compartments, lockers, vents, maintenance hatches, or tight sci-fi corridors without weird blocky workarounds. Every door still reacts to redstone, so you can wire them into your usual farms, bases, or security systems.
For map makers and SMP owners, the key system is where things get spicy. You can lock doors behind colored keys, use redstone keys so they only open when powered, or hit a door with a slime key to freeze it permanently as decoration. Single-use keys make dungeon rewards, puzzle doors, and bank vaults feel way more legit. Everything is craftable and also neatly organized in the creative menu, so whether you’re building a cozy survival house or a full adventure map with gated areas and security doors, QB Doors Mod gives you way more control over how every entrance looks and behaves.
