THIRST Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

THIRST Mod is one of those addons that instantly changes how you plan your day in survival. Normally, you can roam pretty far as long as you’ve got food and maybe a bed. With this installed, food isn’t the whole story anymore—you’ve got to drink too, because thirst becomes its own thing you have to manage. It turns long mining trips, desert travel, and “I’ll just go exploring for a bit” into something you actually prep for, the same way you prep for hunger.

The survival loop gets a nice realistic touch with water purification. You don’t just chug any random bottle and call it a day. The mod says you can place a normal Water Bottle on a Campfire or in a Furnace to purify the water for drinking. That’s a simple mechanic, but it’s enough to create a whole routine: scoop water, purify it back at base, then head out stocked. In early-game worlds, that also makes campfires and furnaces feel useful even when you’re not smelting ore, because now they’re part of your survival setup.

In actual gameplay, the biggest win is how it forces smarter travel habits without needing a bunch of complicated systems. You’ll start caring about where water is, how long you’re away from base, and whether you’re about to commit to a deep cave run with no easy reset point. A practical tip is to treat purified bottles like “trip supplies,” not something you only think about when the bar is empty. If you wait until you’re already in trouble, you’re gonna end up rushing home and making dumb mistakes.

The UI part is clean too: you can keep an eye on your thirst levels down by your hotbar, so you’re not guessing. That’s important because thirst systems can get annoying fast if they’re hidden, but here it’s always right there, like hunger. THIRST Mod is a straightforward Minecraft Bedrock survival upgrade: it keeps the game familiar, but adds that extra layer of pressure that makes your world feel harsher and your planning feel more meaningful.
