The Bridge Map

Minigame Maps / PvP Maps

The Bridge Map is built for players who miss that fast, competitive “score by pushing through” gameplay from Hypixel’s The Bridge, but want it in Minecraft Bedrock. The creator straight-up says it’s basically a carbon copy in terms of mechanics, and the big catch right now is content size: only one map is implemented so far, which is why the version is labeled 1.1. The plan is to add more maps later, so this release is more like the foundation—the core game loop is the focus, and the map pool is what’s meant to grow.

The main playable modes called out are 1v1 and 2v2, and the creator mentions that more than that might work too, even if they’re not totally sure why. That basically means it’s designed with multiplayer in mind, and it’s worth testing with your group if you want bigger teams or more chaotic matches. In the lobby, there’s team switching, which is a simple but important feature because it makes rematches easy. Instead of resetting everything manually, you can swap sides and keep the momentum going, which is exactly how these PvP mini-game maps stay fun for longer sessions.

If you’re planning to host friends, practical tip: run quick rounds and rotate teammates often. The Bridge-style gameplay gets extra spicy when people constantly adapt—one player becomes the builder/defender, another becomes the rusher, and then you switch it up next round. Since there’s only one map right now, keeping the session fresh is more about changing matchups and playstyles than changing arenas.

The map also mentions Education Edition compatibility, with the note that you may have to wait until Education Edition reaches the right version before it works. If you don’t want to wait, the creator says to ask in comments, and they also mention there’s a Minecraft Education version available as well. That’s a nice option if you’re running this in a classroom or a restricted setup where Bedrock Education is the main platform.

The Bridge Map is basically a mechanics-first Bedrock take on The Bridge: one arena so far, team switching in the lobby, and support for the core competitive modes. If you want a tight PvP mini-game loop you can grind with friends, this is a clean starting point that’s clearly meant to expand with more maps later.
