More Body Actions + Pick up & Carry Addon

More Body Actions + Pick up & Carry is a very popular add-on that will allow you to pick up blocks and mobs. There will also be More Body Actions in Minecraft. More Body Actions + Pick up & Carry gives your Minecraft Bedrock character a set of useful movements: sitting, lying down, crawling, climbing low walls, and carrying things. You can lift mobs, other players, and even storage blocks with their contents inside. That last feature is especially handy when you’re moving into a new base and realize just how many chests you’ve filled. Rather than emptying one, breaking it, and making several trips with an overflowing inventory, you can pick up the chest and move it to its new spot. Furnaces and dispensers are among the storage blocks you can carry, too.



Your sheep has escaped its pen again. Instead of chasing it across the hillside with a fistful of wheat, you can pick it up and carry it home.

Picking up a mob or player takes a little practice. Empty both your main hand and offhand, move close to the target, look at it, then sneak and jump. The same empty-hands rule applies to containers, but there’s an extra step: in Survival, approach the block and start breaking it while sneaking and jumping. Make sure there’s enough space above the container before trying to lift it. Once you get the hang of the controls, rearranging a workshop or moving a villager a short distance becomes much less of a production. Be careful with hostile mobs, though. Picking something up doesn’t automatically make it friendly, and carrying a dangerous creature through your base is still a questionable decision.

The movement options come in handy when you aren’t busy hauling furniture and livestock around. Sit down for a break at a campsite, lie down for a screenshot, or start crawling to squeeze through a one-block-high opening. To crawl, sit first and move forward; jumping switches between crawling styles, and sneaking gets you back on your feet. You can also grab the edge of a low wall and climb over it. Keep both hands empty, approach the wall, look slightly upward, and jump. There are limits: the wall can’t be more than three blocks high, and you can’t be sneaking when you grab it.

In multiplayer, these actions open up plenty of opportunities for both teamwork and nonsense. Help move a friend’s chest into a new house, carry an animal back to the farm, or pick up another player while everyone is getting ready for an adventure. The new poses also fit role-play worlds and give you more options when staging screenshots around a campfire or inside a finished build. To use the add-on, activate its behavior and resource packs and enable Beta APIs in the experimental settings. It modifies the player file, so it may conflict with other add-ons that change the same file. Once you’re set up, try the controls somewhere safe—and maybe start with a sheep before attempting to carry anything that bites.
