Simple Death Coords Mod is that tiny, clutch upgrade that keeps bad luck from snowballing into a rage-quit. The moment you die, it records the exact spot and feeds it back to you the way you prefer. Go clean and minimal with a one-time chat breadcrumb you can scroll back to later, or flip on action-bar mode and keep the coordinates pinned above your hotbar the whole run back. Get within eight blocks and it auto-clears, so you’re not staring at stale numbers after you’ve already reclaimed your gear.
It handles real play, not lab conditions. If you die again on the way, the readout updates to the newest location instead of leaving you chasing the wrong spot. It works across all dimensions, so Nether lava baths and End void drops are covered the same way your Overworld cave fumbles are. Pop open the included menu item to switch display mode, tweak behavior, or lock down permissions on a shared world without digging through messy settings.
On SMPs it behaves like a good citizen. Server mode gives operators control over who can change configs, and per-player messages mean your coordinates aren’t spamming global chat. It’s lightweight, snappy, and doesn’t pick fights with other add-ons, so you can drop it into an existing survival save and keep rolling.
Practical tip: stash a small “rescue kit” near spawn—food, blocks, a spare pick, a boat or pearls—and let the mod’s readout lead you straight back through bad terrain. Die, respawn, recover, and get back to mining in minutes. Simple Death Coords Mod turns every setback into a quick detour instead of a lost night.
