Better And Custom KnockBack (Hive KB) Mod is for people who actually care about combos and spacing, not just trading hits and praying Bedrock’s default knockback behaves. With this addon running, you’re in charge of how far players fly — both sideways and straight up — so fights start to feel consistent, repeatable, and way closer to what you see on The Hive and other proper PvP servers. No more getting sent halfway across the map from one sprint tap when you barely got touched.

All the tuning lives in a clean in-game menu. You just run /scriptevent kb:set and a GUI pops up where you can set horizontal knockback, vertical knockback, and even how much W-tap / sprint knockback gets reduced. The recommended setup is around -16 for horizontal, 36 for vertical, and 540 on the sprint reduction if you want that classy Hive-like feel — strong enough for real combos, but not so wild that every hit becomes a launch pad. If you forget what you picked, /scriptevent kb:set show lets you quickly check your current values.

The addon is script-based, multiplayer friendly, and doesn’t touch player.json, so it happily runs on worlds, realms, and dedicated servers alongside other PvP packs or addons. Map makers and server owners can lock in one global knockback profile, while practice worlds can experiment with different settings for bridge, duels, or FFA.
