DoubleHands – Functional Offhand Mod is basically “real offhand support” for Bedrock without touching experiments or breaking your existing packs. Once it’s installed, your offhand actually matters: you can put almost any item or block there and use it directly, while your main hand stays free for tools or weapons. It feels way closer to Java, just wired into Bedrock controls in a smart way.
The core idea is simple: double-sneak to swap something into your offhand (or use the “over there” emote on touch), then keep a tool or nothing in your main hand. From there, your offhand item becomes the one that places or activates. That means you can mine with a pick while placing torches from offhand, farm with a hoe while dropping seeds automatically, or strip logs, shoot bows, and swing tools without accidentally placing blocks you’re just trying to hold. Buckets, flint and steel, “technical” pieces like tripwire hooks, crops, redstone bits — they all work from offhand and play the proper sounds.
Because main-hand actions take priority, the addon feels natural fast: tools still behave like tools, but your offhand finally pulls its weight. For survival runs, redstone setups, and builders who miss Java muscle memory, DoubleHands makes Bedrock movement and gameplay way smoother.
Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
