Winter Additions (Christmas Additions) Mod is basically you flipping the “permanent holiday season” switch on your world. Once it’s on, the overworld feels like it’s stuck in a snowy December: flakes falling from the sky, snow and ice scattered around, and that gentle winter vibe everywhere you walk. If you don’t always want full blizzard mode, you can tweak it with subpacks, but the core idea stays the same — your normal survival seed suddenly looks like a Christmas special. On top of that, some vanilla textures get swapped out: chests use the classic holiday console/Java look, and doors pick up wreaths so even basic builds feel decorated without you placing a single extra block.

The real fun starts when you craft the Holiday Crafter. It’s a special workstation built from a crafting table plus red and green wool, and it’s your main hub for all the extra seasonal stuff. From there you can make presents that work like temporary shulker boxes: you crouch and use one on a chest to “wrap up” everything inside, then later place the present down and punch it to unpack the loot. It’s perfect for gift drops in a spawn town, secret stashes in your base, or server events where players trade surprise boxes. There are also stockings that behave kind of like bundles, but with a festive look, so even your inventory cosmetics get in on the theme.



Decoration-wise, the addon gives you a bunch of simple tools that go a long way. Christmas lights can be placed like vines so you can outline rooftops, bridges, or tree lines and instantly make an area feel like a holiday street. Garland works in the same spirit, with a lit version that doubles as a light source so you don’t have to spam torches everywhere. Ornaments hang from blocks the way lanterns do, letting you dress up ceilings, tree branches, and porch overhangs. They’re cheap to craft too, using an iron nugget and any dye, so you can color-match builds without grinding rare stuff.

If you like running winter towns, spawn hubs, or seasonal SMP events, Winter Additions makes it super easy to turn a normal world into a full-on holiday map without losing the vanilla feel. You’re still playing regular survival — mining, farming, exploring — but now every house, cave entrance, and village street can be wrapped in lights, presents, and snow like a cozy Christmas server lobby.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
