Throwable Items Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Throwable Items Mod is one of those small packs that ends up staying in every survival world because it just makes basic gameplay more fun. Instead of only having snowballs and eggs to yeet at things, you suddenly have a whole lineup of eight different throwable items, each crafted at the table like any other legit gear. No commands, no weird setup, no experiments — you drop it into a 1.21.60+ world, install both packs, and you’re good to go with achievements still turned on. So it feels like “real” survival, just with more toys in your hotbar.

Because everything is craftable, the addon fits nicely into progression. Early on, you’re using cheaper throwables as simple utility or chip damage; later, when you’ve got better resources coming in, you can afford to stock up and really lean into a throwable playstyle. It’s especially fun in caves or tight spaces where you don’t always want to run up and swing, or when you’re kiting mobs across ravines and ledges. You get that satisfying rhythm of crafting a stack, sprinting into a fight, and just peppering mobs or friends from range.

On servers and realms, Throwable Items Mod shines in little mini-games and casual PvP. Players will design arena fights, “don’t touch the floor” challenges, or parkour runs where you can only interact by throwing stuff at each other. Since achievements stay enabled and there are no experimental toggles required, it’s an easy drop-in for long-term worlds too — no one has to restart their main survival just to try it. If you like simple, plug-and-play addons that quietly expand your options without breaking the vanilla feel, this one’s a super easy win.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
