Chikawa Mob Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Chikawa Mob Mod is basically for anyone who wants their world to feel way more alive with cute companions that actually do stuff, not just stand around. This is described as an authorized Minecraft Bedrock port of the Popular Biology / Chiikawa Java Mod by Dwinovo, and it brings a bunch of those trending characters in as pets you can tame and keep with you while you explore. The big win is they’re not just “cosmetic” mobs — once they’re yours, they’ll follow you and help when things get sketchy.

Taming is straightforward and feels like a fun little scavenger goal early on. The mod mentions specific items like taming Hachiware with a cornflower and Chikawa with a white tulip, but it also notes a newer update where creatures can be tamed with any cooked foods like bread or cooked beef. That’s awesome for survival because it means you’re not stuck hunting one exact flower just to start using the addon. Once you’ve got a pet, it’s the classic companion vibe: they stay near you and can assist when you run into trouble.

The job system is what makes Chikawa Mob Mod feel like more than “cute pets.” You can set them up as a farmer type with a hoe and vanilla seeds in their backpack so they help sow seeds and harvest mature crops, which is perfect for keeping a base farm running without you babysitting it nonstop. There’s also a swordman role with a sword that helps automatically attack hostile mobs, and an archer role with a bow that helps shoot hostile mobs with bows and arrows. Both combat roles specifically exclude creepers, so you’re still the one who has to respect that green jumpscare and not get too comfy.

Combat-wise, the pets can be real allies with unique effects mentioned in the description, like Usagi applying a fire effect to enemies and Hachiware adding extra knockback. Each pet also has its own special weapon, and you equip those by shift right-clicking on the pet, which makes it feel like you’re actually gearing up your squad. Quick survival tip: since creepers aren’t targeted, don’t let your pets trick you into thinking you’re safe—keep an ear out at night, especially when you’re farming, mining, or getting jumped in a messy cave. If you want a cute crew that can still pull their weight, Chikawa Mob Mod is a super fun way to do it in Minecraft Bedrock.
