Health Bar (API) Mod is a small change that makes fights feel way more readable, especially when things get chaotic. Instead of trying to guess whether a mob is about to drop or still has a ton of health left, you get a health bar with color variations. The whole point is you can detect enemy health at a glance without needing to see any numbers, which keeps the screen clean while still giving you useful info.
The mod uses a simple color meaning system. Red means the enemy is near death, so that’s the “finish it” moment where you know one more hit might do it. Orange is critical, which is basically the warning zone where they’re hurt bad but not quite done yet. Yellow is a light warning, so they’ve taken damage but they’re not on the edge. Green means healthy, which is the sign you’re still in the early part of the fight and you shouldn’t get lazy. Blue means very healthy, so if you see blue, you know you’re just getting started and it’s not going down anytime soon.
In actual Minecraft Bedrock gameplay, this helps a lot in situations where you’re juggling multiple targets. You can quickly pick off the ones that are red or orange first instead of wasting time swapping targets randomly. It also makes survival nights feel more controlled because you can tell who’s almost done and who’s still a full problem. Practical tip: if you’re getting swarmed, use the colors like a priority list—clean up the red ones fast to reduce pressure, then work through orange and yellow instead of tunneling one target while another “blue” enemy is basically untouched.
Health Bar (API) Mod is straight utility: color-coded health bars that make combat decisions faster without cluttering your screen with numbers.
