Double jump Mod / Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21

Cb's Double jump Mod is made for players who want movement to feel more free without turning survival into creative mode. It adds a seamless double jump mechanic to Minecraft Bedrock Edition using the latest Script API, and it’s described as lightweight and lag-free, which is exactly what you want for something you’ll be using constantly. The goal here isn’t ridiculous height or goofy flight—it’s a clean mobility upgrade that makes exploring and platforming feel way better.

The core feature is simple: you press jump in mid-air to launch yourself upward. The addon backs that up with wind-style “Wind/Cloud” particle effects and a Phantom Flap sound, so the second jump actually feels like a real action instead of a silent physics glitch. It also adds momentum canceling, meaning it instantly cancels your downward velocity when you trigger the boost. That’s a big deal because it makes the double jump feel sharp and controllable, especially when you’re trying to save yourself from a bad drop or you’re jumping across uneven terrain.

To keep it survival-friendly, it includes fall damage protection by automatically granting Resistance when you double jump, so you can land safely from great heights. That changes how you approach cliffs, ravines, and caves, because you’re not just relying on water buckets or praying you don’t slip. The height is balanced at around 5 blocks, which keeps it useful for traversal and base movement without making mobs, terrain, and hazards totally irrelevant.

Compatibility-wise, Double Jump Mod is script powered and doesn’t need a player.json file, and it’s stated to work with almost all other addons. That makes it a great “movement layer” add-on you can run alongside whatever else you’re doing without your pack turning into a conflict mess. Practical tip: once you get used to it, you’ll start playing faster and taking riskier routes, so train yourself to double jump intentionally instead of spamming it—use it to correct mistakes, clear gaps, and control landings, not as a constant panic button.

Using it is straightforward: jump once, briefly release the jump button while in the air, then press jump again to trigger the boost. Double Jump Mod is the kind of Minecraft Bedrock addon that makes basic travel feel smoother and more fun, while still keeping survival’s danger and decision-making intact.
