Evil Eye Addon adds fairy magic and new magic attacks to Minecraft Bedrock. There’s a certain satisfaction in facing a group of Minecraft mobs and having an answer other than another swing of your sword. Evil Eye adds a magical item that lets you cast attacks at a target and affect the area around it. The magic has a darker feel, with effects built around lightning, curses, and controlling enemies. It’s a fitting addition to a survival world if you want to give combat a little more variety after you’ve gathered your usual armor and weapons.
Getting the Evil Eye is an adventure in itself. Its ingredients include an Eye of Ender, Blaze Powder, Glowstone Dust, and a Nether Star, so this is something to work toward as you progress rather than an item you can make on your first day. You’ll need to spend time in the Nether and take on the Wither for the star. Once you have the materials, the Eye gives you a reason to carry magic alongside your regular equipment. Hold it to activate its power, then take some time to learn how its attacks work before relying on it in a difficult fight. The spells use mana, and the wait between uses can be long, so choosing the right moment matters. If you cast too early, you may need your sword while you wait for another opportunity.
The available magic gives you different ways to approach a fight. Dark Lightning strikes across an area and can hit multiple targets, making it an appealing choice when enemies have gathered close together. Each effect suggests a different response to danger: you might want to stop an approaching enemy when you need space, or use an area attack when several mobs are already around you. Try the abilities somewhere you have room to move first. That way, you can get a feel for their reach and timing without discovering the limits of a spell in the middle of a crowded cave.
The Eye can also be a fun part of a character or a themed survival playthrough. After working through the Nether and defeating the Wither, you could keep it as the signature item of a dark mage, taking it out for dangerous trips while saving ordinary tools for everyday work. The resource pack linked on the download page supplies only part of the add-on, though: the matching behavior pack is also needed for the gameplay features. Import both packs and activate them in your world settings before trying to use the Eye. Once everything is set up, collect the ingredients, make the item, and experiment with the abilities against the mobs you encounter. There’s no need to abandon your familiar gear; the magic gives you another option to consider when a fight begins.
Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;

- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
