You get half-slabs for sleek skylights, stairs for see-through pathways, and yes, actual vertical slabs to build proper thin walls. I've been using it to section off indoor mob farms without making the room look cramped. The stonecutter and standard crafting table recipes are fully integrated right out of the box, so crafting these in a survival playthrough is super straightforward.



Because the MCPE engine is notoriously stubborn, there are a few quirks you need to know about before you start building. The custom stairs don't magically connect at the corners like vanilla wood does, and their hitbox means you kinda have to jump up them rather than just holding W to walk up smoothly. Also, you can't stack two half-slabs directly on top of each other to make a full block.
