Then there is the thievery tree, which opens up an entirely separate layer of sneaky utility. Instead of brute-forcing every single encounter, you can actually play like an elusive rogue, snatching valuable supplies and slipping away before nearby hostiles can retaliate. It changes the cadence of routine resource runs completely. You stop treating every underground cavern like a mindless left-click simulator and start approaching survival encounters with real tactical thought. Watching your stat meters tick up on the interface gives every single trek out into the wilderness real purpose, even when you come back with half-empty chests, because your survivor still walked away fundamentally stronger than before.
