Mythical Pets Mod will add more mobs, you can tame these three creatures and get cool and useful pets for Steve.
Mythical Pets adds unusual companions to Minecraft Bedrock, each with a useful role in your adventures. There’s a golem that can heal you, a sturdy dwarf that fights monsters, and a flying fairy that helps you descend safely. They’re small compared with an iron golem, but each one can make a difference when you’re exploring caves or working around your base. You’ll need to craft spawn eggs to bring them into your world, so finding the materials becomes a goal of its own.
The Crimson Golem is a helpful companion to have nearby after a fight. It can heal you when you stand close enough, making it a useful resident for a base or a place where you often return between adventures. Unlike the other pets described here, it can’t be tamed and won’t follow you around by itself. You can use a lead to move it, though, which lets you bring it to a spot where its healing will be useful. If the golem itself gets hurt, you can heal it with a red mushroom. Keeping one near an entrance to your mine could give you somewhere to recover before heading back underground.
The Iron Dwarf is the companion to take along when you expect trouble. It attacks monsters and can follow you as you travel, giving you some help when enemies get close. You can tame it with an iron nugget and heal it with raw iron, an iron ingot, or an iron block. Like a wolf or cat, it can be told to sit when you want it to stay somewhere. That’s handy if you’d rather leave it guarding a part of your base while you work. One detail to remember is that the dwarf won’t attack creepers, so don’t rely on it to deal with every danger you meet. Keep watching your surroundings, especially in caves where a creeper can approach from a dark passage.
The Lush Fairy offers a different kind of help. It flies around you and can give you the slow falling effect when you touch it. That can be useful when you’re making your way through a large cave with ledges and steep drops, or when you want a little extra confidence while exploring high places. The fairy can be tamed with glow berries and will follow you after that. It’s a lighter, more magical companion than the Iron Dwarf, and the two are useful for different reasons: one helps in a fight, while the other can make a dangerous descent less worrying. You can also use a lead if you need to guide the fairy somewhere.
To get these companions, you’ll need to craft their spawn eggs. The recipes call for materials such as iron blocks, moss blocks, Nether wart blocks, lightning rods, and Totems of Undying, depending on the pet. Some ingredients will take more effort to collect than others, so you may want to choose which companion would help you most and work toward that one first. A player who spends a lot of time underground might be drawn to the fairy, while someone preparing for fights may prefer the dwarf. The Crimson Golem is a good choice if you want healing close to home.
Mythical Pets gives you new companions with jobs that fit naturally into survival. They can accompany you on a trip, help you recover, or stay near your base while you work on your next project. Once you have the materials, try bringing one into your world and learning how it helps. A little preparation can turn a difficult cave expedition into an adventure with a useful friend at your side.
