The Doggos - 30+ Unique Wolf Textures! The addon will change the textures of wolves to different breeds of dogs. Look at the screenshots how it looks in Minecraft.

The Doggos lets you give your Minecraft Bedrock wolves the appearance of different dog breeds using name tags. With more than thirty options, choosing a companion might become a bigger decision than choosing where to build your house.

The selection covers everything from corgis, dachshunds, and Chihuahuas to Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and Tibetan mastiffs. You can also pick familiar favorites such as a husky, Labrador, beagle, German shepherd, or golden retriever. Each gives your wolf a different look, making it fun to compare breeds before deciding what suits you. Maybe you want a dog that reminds you of a real pet, or perhaps you’ve always liked a breed you’ve never had at home. You could choose one companion for your adventures or keep several around the base. Just remember that deciding you need “one more is how a perfectly ordinary house becomes a kennel.

To change a tamed wolf’s appearance, prepare a name tag with the matching breed name and use it on your pet. Spelling, spaces, and capitalization matter, so follow the listed name carefully. “Dobermann, for example, is one of the names you can use. This gives you control over the look you want instead of waiting to encounter it randomly. You can decide which companion gets which appearance and compare a few favorites in a creative world first. It’s worth taking a closer look at the different models while you’re there. A breed you hadn’t considered could turn out to be your favorite once you see it in Minecraft.

The pack has some less ordinary choices, too. Alongside the recognizable breeds, you’ll find options such as Dragon, Fennec, Temmie, and Scooby Doo. Those could be fun if your world already has a playful theme or you want a companion with a particular character in mind. A Scooby-inspired dog might give you an excuse to build a mystery-solving headquarters, while a dragon appearance could suit a fantasy home. Those would be your own projects rather than features supplied by the pack. Start with a design you enjoy, then see whether it inspires something you actually want to build.

The Doggos uses 16x textures and supports Vibrant Visuals, keeping the pets suited to Minecraft’s blocky surroundings. It’s an appealing change for players who spend a lot of time with their wolves and want them to look more individual. You might build each dog a little resting spot, arrange a group picture outside your house, or bring a favorite along while working nearby. The appearance is the main attraction, so keep caring for your companions as you normally would. Give them somewhere comfortable to stay, keep them away from trouble, and try to leave enough space for yourself. A collection of dogs sitting by the door can make coming home lovely—and getting through the doorway surprisingly difficult.
