More Fences Addon more new sets of fences in Minecraft.
A fence can do more for a Minecraft build than mark the edge of a field. The right material can make a garden feel neat, give a castle courtyard a heavier look or finish a balcony without blocking the view. More Fences adds a wide selection of options made from materials you don’t normally see in fence form. Instead of reaching for the same wooden design every time, you can choose a fence that fits the blocks and colors you’ve already used in your build.
There are plenty of familiar materials to work with, including cobblestone, brick, deepslate, sandstone, quartz and iron. A cobblestone fence could look at home beside a small village path, while dark deepslate or blackstone may suit a fortress. If you’re building near the water, prismarine offers a different color to play with. Moss and packed mud provide more natural-looking choices for gardens and rural builds. You don’t have to commit to one material for an entire project, either: try a few combinations around an entrance or along a path and see which one looks best from a distance.
For something more unusual, the collection includes fences inspired by amethyst, emerald, gold, obsidian and even sculk. They can be a finishing detail for a room or help give an area its own identity. An amethyst fence might be an interesting addition to an enchanting area, while quartz could fit a bright modern house. If you’ve built in the Nether, netherrack and blackstone options give you materials that suit the surroundings. There are also glowstone and froglight fences to consider when you want a brighter decorative element in a build.
Glass and tinted glass fences add another way to frame an area without using a solid-looking material. They can work well around a balcony, terrace or walkway where you want to keep the landscape visible. Tinted glass behaves like its regular block counterpart, so it gives you a different option when controlling light matters. Try both types beside the walls and windows you’re already using; the clearer style may suit one room, while the darker finish looks better somewhere else. A few small changes to railings can make an otherwise finished house feel more cohesive.
The fences can be crafted for use in survival, so you can gather materials and make the designs you need as your projects grow. Check the in-game recipes for the particular fence you want, since the material you choose matters. Start with a short section around a garden or entrance before making enough for a larger area. That gives you a chance to see how it looks alongside the rest of the build. Whether you’re finishing a farm, decorating a castle or adding railings to a modern home, More Fences gives you more ways to choose the details.
