Soul Magic Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21 / Mods 1.20

Soul Magic Addon will teach you new video magic, learn about new magic super moves. A group of zombies is closing in, your sword is nearly broken, and there isn’t much room to retreat. With Soul Magic, you have another option: summon undead allies of your own and let them join the fight. This add-on gives your Minecraft character a set of necromancer-style abilities, from firing soul skulls to calling a Warden into battle. The spells are available through items placed in your hotbar, so you can switch between them as a situation changes. Magic also uses mana, which recovers gradually, making it worth watching how much you have left. You may be able to turn a difficult encounter around, but spending everything at once could leave you waiting for energy when the next enemy arrives.

Soul Shot gives you a ranged attack that fires skulls through blocks and applies the Wither effect to a target for a short time. It can be useful when an enemy is out of reach or there’s an obstacle between you and the fight. Soul Switch works differently: fire its projectile at a mob and you exchange positions with it, leaving the target unable to move for five seconds. That opens up some interesting possibilities if you need to get past an enemy or briefly stop one from pursuing you. Be careful about where you aim, though. Switching places can put you somewhere awkward, especially around drops or confined spaces. There’s also a passive ability called Soul Essence, which periodically applies a Wither effect to entities that get very close. Together, these skills give you ways to deal with threats both at a distance and right beside you.

When a fight calls for more help, Undead Summoning brings four zombies to attack nearby entities. You can use them to add pressure while you keep your distance or deal with another threat. Creeper Head offers a more explosive approach: throw its projectile and a creeper head appears before exploding after a short delay. Give that one some space, particularly if the fight is happening near a building you care about. For a larger confrontation, Warden’s Rampage summons a Warden and undead to attack nearby entities. It’s a dramatic ability to try in an open area where you can see what’s happening and plan your next move. The summoned minions and passive effect are intended to affect entities that aren’t Soul Magic users, which gives players using the same magic a way to fight alongside one another.

When you first load a survival world with the add-on active, you’ll be offered a choice of magic. Select soul magic and its ability items will occupy the first five slots of your hotbar, so plan where you want to keep your food, tools, and other supplies. Your mana has a maximum of 100 and slowly returns over time; if it runs low during a long fight, give it time to recover. To install Soul Magic, open the downloaded add-on file with Minecraft and activate its resource and behavior packs in your world settings. Once you’re ready, try the abilities somewhere with room to move and learn how they work before heading into a dangerous area. A little practice with Soul Switch and Creeper Head is much easier when your base isn’t directly behind the target.
