The Bob Golems (Golems PLUS+) addon makes Minecraft Bedrock way more fun by letting you craft golems out of almost any block, not just iron. All you need is the classic T-shape build and a pumpkin, and depending on the block you used, you’ll spawn a different golem.

I dropped it into survival and started testing. A dirt golem? Cheap but hilarious, not too strong but good for early game laughs. Swap it out for stone or iron, and suddenly you’ve got solid defenders that can actually tank mobs during raids. Diamond and gold golems? Those guys look insane — tough, shiny, and they hit like trucks. The variety means you can tailor your defenses depending on how much loot you’re willing to spend.

Building a base near an ocean monument? Drop specialized variants that excel in aquatic combat to intercept Drowned before they even touch your shoreline. Some advanced golems even feature dynamic utility behaviors like passive lighting effects or localized area-of-effect damage, turning your front courtyard into an absolute fortress. Setting up these specialized defenders completely changes how you manage mob sieges, letting you shift from a frantic, stressful panic to absolute tactical dominance.

Throwing this expansive add-on onto an active multiplayer Realm takes your community coordination to a whole new level. When your Discord squad is building a massive shared mega-base, everyone can specialize in crafting different elemental guardian tiers based on their personal resource mining habits. That one friend who spends all their time strip-mining deep underground can supply the heavy diamond and deepslate tanks, while the builder mains construct glass and wood variants to patrol the perimeter walls. And despite the sheer volume of custom entity coding running under the hood, the backend optimization is exceptionally smooth. You won't have to worry about weird server lag spikes, dropped input frames on mobile touchscreens, or stuttering tick rates on your next-gen console while your custom army is actively clearing out hostile raids.

What makes this addon even cooler is that all the textures are original. Each golem has its own look and doesn’t feel like a lazy copy. Walking into my village with different golems guarding each side felt epic — like I had my own custom army.
