True RenderDragon Support: Chroma Shader
Trying to get shaders working on Bedrock right now is honestly miserable. Ever since the RenderDragon engine update dropped, everything old completely broke. You usually have to download weird third-party patchers or mess around with your game files just to get some basic custom lighting.
Chroma Shader basically skips all that nonsense.
It's a true non-patch shader. You just install it like any regular resource pack and it actually functions on modern MCPE and Bedrock versions out of the box. No sketchy external apps required.
But the main reason people are actually running this is the performance. A lot of modern graphics packs will absolutely tank your frames if you aren't on a high-end PC. They specifically built Chroma for low-end devices. You aren't going to drop to 15 FPS the second you render an ocean or look at a dense jungle. It just runs incredibly smooth.
You still get the core visual upgrades though. The fog actually looks realistic instead of just looking like a flat gray wall in the distance. The lighting is way softer, and you get the standard waving leaves and water animations that make the game feel alive.
It completely changes the vibe of a standard survival run.
If you've been stuck playing with flat vanilla graphics because your phone or older setup can't handle massive RTX packs, this is the fix. You get a serious visual boost without cooking your device's processor. Just load it in your active packs and you are good to go.
Installation:
- Download Shader;
- Open the downloaded .mcpack to install;
- Select texture in settings;
- Done.
