Better Copper Golem Mod gives your little metal runners a brain upgrade. Instead of one-size-fits-all behavior, you pick how they move items: a carry stack cap of 16, 32, or 64, and a container memory of 10, 30, or 50 chests. Drop the combo you want in the behavior pack settings and the golems start acting like they were trained for your base—tight loops for early farms, long laps for megastorage.
Here’s how it feels in play. Running a small sugarcane or mob drop farm? Set stacks to 16 with 10-chest memory so a golem makes quick, frequent drops without clogging your barrels. Expanding into a smelter hall or bulk crop line? 32 + 30 keeps routes efficient while clearing bursts of items after harvests. For late-game sorter halls and quarry digs, 64 + 50 lets a single golem haul big waves and remember a long chest run, so it isn’t bouncing back and forth every few seconds.
Because the memory value controls how many containers a golem keeps in its mental map, you can “shape” routes: short memory for tight loops between a farm and two barrels; long memory to patrol an aisle of storage or an auto-sorting wall. The stack cap determines trip pacing—smaller stacks mean more frequent deliveries (great for crafting benches and furnaces), while larger stacks reduce traffic in big bases.
Swap subpacks anytime if your layout changes, and test combos in a copy world before pushing to a realm. With the right pairing, your copper crew stops feeling random and starts running the mailroom—quiet, reliable, and tuned to your world.
