Biomes+ Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Biomes+ Mod is for those runs where you still want the game to feel vanilla, but the world just needs more places worth walking toward. Instead of dumping in a ton of noisy, overcomplicated dimensions, this addon quietly adds four new biomes into normal generation: tall forest, burning forest, wheat plains, and autune forest. They slot into the world the same way regular biomes do, so you’re still exploring like usual, you just start seeing new silhouettes on the horizon instead of the same plains–forest–desert loop.

Tall forest is that “I probably shouldn’t go in here at night” kind of biome. Trees stretch higher, the canopy feels heavier, and it’s the perfect place to hide a base up in the leaves or carve out a spooky path on the ground. Wheat plains flips the vibe completely: wide, open land that feels like someone turned the world into a giant field. It’s great for big farms, villages, starter towns, or just building long roads and rail lines because you’re not fighting every block of terrain.

Burning forest brings in the harsher look. It feels like a place that’s been through something—more hostile, more dramatic, and perfect if you’re building ruined fortresses, apocalyptic bases, or PvP arenas with a “don’t relax here” mood. Autune forest (yeah, the name says it all) leans into a softer, seasonal twist, making it a nice spot for cozy houses, paths, and screenshots when you want a break from default green everywhere.

The nice thing is you don’t have to wander blindly to find any of them. With Biomes+ Mod you can use the /locate command to hunt down specific biomes, mark them, and build around them without burning hours of random exploring. And since the creator plans to add more biomes in future updates, this pack can keep growing alongside your long-term worlds.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
