Random Respawn Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Random Respawn Mod is basically chaos survival in the cleanest form: death doesn’t just send you back to the same safe bedroom over and over. Every time you die, you respawn in a brand-new random spot somewhere in the overworld. That one change turns the whole game into a constant adaptation loop, because you can’t rely on “spawn town” being your forever anchor unless you deliberately lock it down.

The bed system is the twist that makes it more than pure randomness. The mod calls bed the last option—so if you want a permanent respawn point, you can use a bed, but you better not lose it. That adds real pressure to base planning. You stop treating a bed like a casual decoration and start treating it like a save point you protect. If you’re doing survival or hardcore-style runs, that’s a huge mindset shift: securing your bed area becomes part of your progression, not an afterthought.

What this mod really does is force full-world exploration. Since you can end up anywhere after a death, you’ll naturally see more biomes, more terrain types, and more “okay, how do I survive here with nothing?” moments. One respawn might drop you near forests and food, another might put you somewhere harsh where you have to play smart until you’re stable again. It’s also a fun way to break the habit of building one megabase and never leaving a 500-block radius.

It’s also built to be practical, not messy. The addon says it’s achievement friendly, so you’re not trading progression for the gimmick. Multiplayer support is included, with each player getting their own random respawn independently, which is important because shared random spawns can get annoying fast. And it’s described as lightweight—no laggy, heavy scripts—so it’s meant to work smoothly in normal survival worlds instead of turning your game into a slideshow.

If you want it to feel fair instead of frustrating, play like death is a relocation, not a reset. Keep your inventory organized, don’t carry every valuable item on risky trips, and when you do decide to set a bed spawn, protect it like it’s the only thing keeping your world from becoming a permanent wandering simulator. Random Respawn Mod is simple, but it completely changes the rhythm of Minecraft Bedrock by making every death a new map roll.
