Random - Mob Spawn Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Random - Mob Spawn Mod is straight-up chaos in the best way. Instead of mobs spawning normally, the addon randomizes them when they appear in the world, and it works across all vanilla mobs. That means your usual “I know what’s out here” instincts get tossed out the window. One minute you’re doing a normal night run for resources, the next you’re dealing with something you definitely weren’t mentally prepared for. It’s not trying to be some perfectly tuned hardcore overhaul either—it’s labeled as pure fun and not balanced gameplay, and honestly that’s the whole point.

What makes it easy to actually use is the setup. It doesn’t require any Experimental Features, and it’s compatible with achievements, so you can drop it into a regular survival world without turning your save into a test lab. The vibe is perfect for worlds where you want stories to happen naturally. Like, you’re building a base, you step outside to grab wood, and suddenly the “safe” area isn’t safe anymore because spawns are a dice roll. It’s also hilarious in co-op because people can’t call out threats the normal way—everyone has to react in real time instead of autopiloting fights they’ve done a thousand times.

The addon has two options, and this part matters. You should use Option Random Vanilla Mob by default. The other one, the Mob Spawn Multiplier compatible version, is only for when you actually have the Mob Spawn Multiplier Addon installed. If you use that option without Mob Spawn Multiplier, it can crash your game, so don’t treat the options like “whatever, same thing.” Pick the default unless you know for a fact you’re running the multiplier addon too.

Gameplay tip: because this isn’t balanced, don’t assume your usual gear level matches the danger level. If you’re starting fresh, keep your early exploration tight—stick close to home, light up paths, and don’t wander too far at night unless you’re ready for something wild. And if you’re playing on a world you care about, it’s smart to test the addon in a throwaway save first just to get a feel for how chaotic it can get. Random - Mob Spawn Mod is basically a fun switch for Minecraft Bedrock that turns normal survival into a nonstop “what just spawned?” moment generator.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
