Orbital Canon Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Orbital Canon Mod is pure “press button, watch the world explode” energy, but with a specific techy twist. It takes the humble Fishing Rod and transforms it into a devastating Orbital Strike Cannon, inspired by the “Stab Shot” style cannons shown in Wembu’s videos. Instead of slow explosions where you’re waiting on a fuse, this addon uses TNT Minecarts that detonate on impact, which makes the destruction feel instant and snappy while being described as lag-friendly compared to slower setups.

Using it is straightforward and built around naming. You grab a normal Fishing Rod, rename it in an Anvil to “Orbital Canon” (or short names like “OC,” or even “God Rod” and “Strike”), and now it becomes the weapon. Right-click fires at a target, and sneak right-click switches modes. That mode swap is the fun part because it changes how you approach the terrain you’re trying to erase.

Drill Mode is the focused option: it fires a stream straight down to bore a hole to bedrock, which is perfect when you want a clean vertical shaft or you’re trying to punch through layers fast. Scatter Mode is the opposite vibe—wide cone, carpet-bombing an area—so it’s for clearing huge zones, flattening land, or basically creating instant chaos when you don’t care about precision. If you’re doing any kind of big project, the choice comes down to whether you want a controlled cut or a blasted-out footprint you can shape afterward.

The Water Breaker feature matters more than it sounds. Water can mess with explosions and leave you with half-destroyed results, so automatically clearing water at the target zone means the orbital hits actually chew through blocks instead of getting “softened” by water coverage. Practical tip: still treat this like a demolition tool, not something you casually test next to your base. Swap modes deliberately, pick your target area, and give yourself space, because once you start firing, the terrain changes fast. Orbital Canon Mod is built for players who want instant, massive destruction with a simple fishing-rod workflow and a satisfying “switch modes, change the outcome” loop in Minecraft Bedrock.
