Swords and Bows Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Swords and Bows Mod is the kind of addon you grab when vanilla combat starts feeling a little too predictable. The whole pitch is simple: more weapons, more power, and a lot more “I can handle whatever shows up.” It adds 10 new swords and 10 new bows to the game, so you’re not just getting one gimmick item—you’ve got a full set of options to mess with as you progress through your world.

The mod leans hard into abilities and destructive potential, which changes how fights feel in survival. Instead of every encounter being the same backpedal-and-swing routine, this addon is clearly meant to make combat feel like you’re bringing specialized gear to the job. When you’re clearing a cave, protecting your base at night, or pushing into a risky area, having a bigger weapon pool makes it feel like you’re choosing a playstyle rather than just using whatever tool has the best enchant.

A really practical part is the guidebook that explains how to craft them. That matters because with a lot of weapon addons, you end up guessing recipes or needing outside info, and it kills the flow. Here, the guidebook is built in specifically to walk you through crafting, so you can treat it like your in-game checklist: gather materials, craft the next upgrade, test it in the field, then decide which weapons you actually like using.

Because these weapons are described as having destructive potential, the smart move is to test new gear away from your main base first. Take a fresh sword or bow into a controlled fight—like a night run in open terrain or a cave you don’t care about—so you can learn how it behaves without accidentally wrecking something important. In co-op, this mod can also turn into a fun “roles” setup where one player leans into bows for ranged pressure while another runs swords for close fights, especially when you’re dealing with messy mob swarms.

Swords and Bows Mod is basically a combat expansion for Minecraft Bedrock: 20 new weapons total, a built-in guidebook for crafting, and a focus on ability-driven gear that makes monster fights feel way less routine.
