Ninjago Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Ninjago Addon is basically a movement-and-combat update that makes your character feel way less “walk up, swing sword, repeat” and way more like an actual martial arts fighter. This update focuses on the Ninjago martial arts system, including spinjitsu, airjitsu, shatterspin, and more, plus a bunch of different colors and types for each one so you can lean into whatever vibe you want. The creator also says this is the second-to-last update before the big main Ninjago update that’s planned to include stuff like armors, elemental powers, mobs like dragons, slot-based moves, races, and more—so this one is setting the groundwork with the move system first.

In-game, the moves are meant to function like they do in Ninjago. Spinjitsu spins targets around you, airjitsu lets you fly, and there’s a counter relationship where rising dragon counters shatterspin. You don’t just magically have the moves either: scrolls can be crafted, and you use them to unlock moves or even craft other scrolls. Activation is pretty clean once you learn it—moves can be triggered by double shifting, while shatterspin is one of those “keep shifting” styles that wants constant input. There’s also a timer so you can’t stay powered up forever, which helps it feel less like an always-on cheat and more like a tool you pop when it matters.

The addon keeps things controlled in a few ways that actually make fights feel more tactical. You can only have one move active at a time, so you’re choosing a style instead of stacking everything at once. Some elements can gain more moves when you use a mastery scroll, which gives you a progression goal instead of just unlocking everything instantly. Shatterspin also gets a slice ability when you jump, so it’s not just “hold shift and hope,” it’s something you can weave into movement—like jumping into a hit while you’re in the mode. And if you go all the way and master all martial arts, the timer constraints get removed, which is a pretty wild endgame reward and makes the “mastery” chase feel worth it.

For survival tips: airjitsu is the obvious pick when you’re traveling, crossing rough terrain, or trying to escape a bad night fight, while spinjitsu sounds like the “get off me” option when you’re getting surrounded. Just remember the timer is there, so don’t waste it on small stuff—save it for caves, raids, or moments where one mistake would cost you your gear. The update also mentions armors being added as a treat—armors the creator fixed over the summer—so you’re getting some extra gear content alongside the martial arts system in Minecraft Bedrock.
