RR Soul Guard: Secure Death Grave & Anti-Loot is made for that specific survival pain where you do everything right for hours—mining, enchanting, gearing up—then one mistake deletes your progress. Dying in lava, getting dropped in a deep cave, or going down far from home usually means you’re racing the clock, because your items can despawn fast. On multiplayer worlds it’s even worse, because even if you sprint back, another player can scoop your gear before you even see the death spot. This addon is trying to solve that problem technically without turning survival into a freebie mode.



The way RR Soul Guard: Secure Death Grave & Anti-Loot does it is by creating a secure container exactly where you died. Instead of your inventory exploding into scattered items, the script uses death event logic to capture everything instantly. The moment your health reaches zero, it calculates your entire inventory, including armor and off-hand items, so you don’t get that awful “I think I dropped something… where is it?” feeling. It’s a clean system because it’s not relying on you to remember what you had, and it’s not leaving pieces behind.

Storage is handled smart too. If your inventory is too big for a single chest, it automatically generates a double chest so nothing gets left out. That matters on long sessions where you’re carrying a full load of loot, blocks, tools, and random survival junk. Practical tip: this makes big exploration trips feel way safer, but it doesn’t mean you should play careless. You still have to get back to the spot, and if the death location is in a dangerous area, recovering your grave can still be a real mission—just a fair one, not a timed panic run.

The biggest quality-of-life win is that the grave is a physical block, not an entity item. That means anti-despawn by design: your items won’t disappear even if it takes you hours to return. In multiplayer, the “Anti-Loot” angle is the real deal too, because your stuff isn’t sitting on the ground as easy free loot.
