【CSO】Phobos Boss Mod / Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21

【CSO】Phobos Boss Mod is centered on Phobos, an alien that arrived in a mysterious egg, hatched, and started hunting for hosts to infect. The Rex Research Institute tried to contain it, but the experiment went sideways fast, and now the whole vibe is “stop this thing before it turns everyone into a problem.” If you’re into big, cinematic boss fights where the arena turns into chaos in seconds, Phobos is built to be that moment.

In-game, Phobos is not a gentle boss. He has 7,000 health and 100% knockback resistance, so you’re not cheesing him by juggling him around. His Swipe is the common pressure tool: it deals 23 damage and can knock multiple players away, which is brutal in tight spaces because it breaks your rhythm and splits teams up. Then there’s Shockwave, which is electric-based, shakes the ground, ignores armor, and can slow players while also having a chance to wipe your mainhand item depending on difficulty. That’s the kind of ability that makes you play different immediately, because suddenly you’re thinking about what you’re holding and when you’re committing to hits.

The difficulty scaling is clear and scary. Shockwave stays at an 8-block range, but the damage and slowness amp jump hard: Easy is 15 damage with 5 seconds of slowness at amp 1, Normal is 25 damage with amp 2, and Hard is 35 damage with amp 3, all with camerashake. On top of that, the chance for it to appear increases from 30% to 50% across difficulties, so Hard can feel like you’re constantly getting punished for standing too close. Mahadash is the real “don’t get caught” move: it’s a 10-block dash that damages everything in its path, launches people with big knockback, does 2x damage to the target it’s leaping toward, and it’s literally described as instakill likely. The base damage alone is wild, going from 20 on Easy to 60 on Hard, with the same 30/40/50% appearance chances.

Since 【CSO】Phobos Boss Mod doesn’t spawn in survival yet, here are some creative ways it could spawn that fit the egg-and-lab lore without feeling random. You could make Phobos tied to a rare “containment breach” moment where players find a sealed research site or underground facility area and trigger the hatch sequence by interacting with the mysterious egg, turning the fight into a deliberate risk instead of a surprise ambush. Another solid approach is making it a progression gate: the egg appears in a specific ominous location and only “wakes up” after the player does something bold in-world, like activating containment power or opening a locked chamber, so it feels like you caused the disaster. You could also lean into the host infection idea by having the egg stay dormant until it “finds” enough activity nearby, then hatches when players linger too long in the wrong place, which would make exploration tense without needing any complicated crafting.

One last practical note: the mod includes music, so you’ll actually want your music volume on for the full fight energy. And because Shockwave can mess with your mainhand and ignores armor, the smartest playstyle is treating the arena like a spacing game first and a damage race second. 【CSO】Phobos Boss Mod is the kind of Minecraft Bedrock boss where you win by staying calm, keeping distance discipline, and not letting one dash turn your whole run into a wipe.
