Sieged! Mod / Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21

Sieged! Mod is built for players who want their world to feel like it’s constantly on the edge of a medieval war. Instead of random skirmishes, you get a full “siege” loop: find an enemy fortification, prep your attack, then break it open with siege engines and push through waves of defenders. The theme is straight-up castle warfare, and the mod leans into that hard by giving you tools that actually match the fantasy instead of just reskinning normal combat.

The headline feature is siege engines you can control, including explosive catapults and heavy-hitting trebuchets. That changes how fights start, because you’re not just charging in with a sword—you’re weakening defenses first, making openings, and setting the pace from a distance. It also makes base defense and offense feel more strategic, since “no wall is too tall” is basically an invitation to stop building like you’re safe behind one layer of blocks and start thinking like you’re in a real siege scenario.

The targets are pillager castles that you can discover, assault, and clear. When you want the action to kick off, you sound a horn near enemy fortifications to trigger wave-based battles, so you’re choosing when the chaos starts instead of stumbling into it accidentally. If you want higher pressure and better payoff, the mod says you can use ominous bottles to crank the challenge up for greater rewards, which is perfect for players who like pushing difficulty on purpose rather than getting the same fight every time.

On the ally side, Sieged! Mod lets you recruit villager warriors and archers to fight with you, so it’s not just you versus an army. That opens up fun squad moments where you’re advancing with a line of archers behind you while you and your melee units push forward. On the enemy side, you can run into pillager champions in close combat, which adds that “mini-boss” vibe inside the bigger siege so it doesn’t all feel like the same mob spam.

Practical tip: treat the whole thing like an operation. Use siege weapons first to weaken the castle before you go in, because if you rush the gate too early, you’re just going to get overwhelmed when the waves stack up. Clear space for your archers to work, and don’t drag your squad into tight corridors where they can’t move or spread out. Sieged! Mod is at its best when you plan your approach, trigger a siege on your terms, and then actually storm the castle like you mean it.
