T&W - Steel Expansion Mod / Addon

T&W - Steel Expansion Mod will add more metal tools, armor, new items, blocks and weapons to Minecraft. Iron equipment can carry you a long way in Minecraft, but there often comes a point when you start looking for something that will last longer. T&W - Steel Expansion adds steel as another material to work with, giving you new tools, weapons, armor, and blocks to make for your survival world. It sits between the familiar stages of working with iron and searching for diamond, offering another choice as you improve your equipment. Steel is made from iron and coal, so materials you already gather on mining trips become part of a new crafting process. If you enjoy working toward a complete set of gear, you can begin with a single steel tool and gradually collect enough material for the rest.



Steel Mix, Steel Ingots, and Steel Nuggets are the materials behind the new equipment. The mix is used to produce ingots, which you can then put toward the recipes that interest you. There’s also a Steel Block that can be used in construction or as a compact way to work with the material. Keep some iron and coal aside when you return from a cave, then look through the available recipes to decide what you want to make first. A tool for your next mining trip might be the obvious choice, but you could also begin with a weapon if you spend more time exploring dangerous places. The new material gives you a reason to plan how you use supplies rather than turning every piece of iron into the same equipment you’ve made in previous worlds.

The steel tools are intended to be more durable and faster than iron tools, while keeping the same mining level. That distinction matters when you’re planning a trip underground: a tool may last longer, but you still need to consider whether it can harvest the ore you’re looking for. Steel weapons offer another option for fighting mobs, and steel armor lets you put the material toward protection as well. There is a tradeoff to consider when enchanting, since the steel equipment has lower enchantability than iron. You can try a piece during everyday survival and decide where it fits among the gear you already own. Perhaps a steel pickaxe becomes your regular tool for clearing tunnels, while another pickaxe stays in a chest for a specific job. A set of armor can be built gradually as you collect more materials.

This is an expansion for Phoenix’s Tools & Weapons, so the base addon is required alongside it. Import both downloads, activate their packs in your world settings, and check the crafting menu once you enter the world. From there, steel can become part of whatever you’re already doing: gathering blocks for a large build, preparing for a cave expedition, or making equipment for friends on a shared server. Start with the item you expect to use most and see how it performs before committing your entire supply of iron and coal. T&W - Steel Expansion gives familiar mining resources a new destination and adds another step to the satisfying process of building up your equipment over time.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
