Motorisation Addon adds many old school cars to Minecraft. This mod adds crafting working cars. Motorisation adds a collection of 1960s-style cars to Minecraft Bedrock, all with working vehicles you can craft. If you’ve built roads through your town, this gives you something fitting to put on them—and a good excuse to finally finish that garage.
The cars cover several styles from the same decade. There’s the SD60, a D-class sedan base available in five colors, and the smaller SA60 base with three color options. The collection branches out from there into Soviet, East German, British, and American-inspired sedans. You get a choice of shapes and paint schemes while staying within a consistent vintage theme. That’s useful for a town build, where a few different cars can make a street feel occupied. Park one beside a house, leave another outside a shop, and the surroundings start suggesting a place where people have somewhere to go.
Making the national variants starts with a base vehicle. The Soviet 3S60RU uses the SD60, while the East German SA60DE and British SA60UK use the SA60. Dyes matching the relevant national flag are part of those recipes, and they aren’t consumed during crafting. Once you have the colors, you can reuse them for another car. It gives collecting a straightforward progression: make the base, choose a variant, and decide which version belongs in your garage. The American SF60US rounds out the range with an F-class sedan, offering another model to consider when you want to expand the collection.
There’s a maintenance side to owning these cars too. Repairs accept materials including copper, iron, and gold ingots, nuggets, redstone dust, netherite scrap, and netherite ingots. Keeping some supplies near the parking area would save you a trip through the storage room whenever you need them. The Soviet, East German, and British variants drop their base vehicles when destroyed, so there’s also a connection between the finished car and the model used to make it. One slightly unusual detail is the sound: the addon uses iron golem effects. That’s part of what you’ll hear while getting familiar with the vehicles.
The collection works well as the starting point for a smaller project. You could build a roadside workshop with a couple of parking spaces, then connect it to your base with a simple road. From there, it’s easy to find reasons to add another destination: a row of houses, a little service station, or a town square. Those buildings are yours to create, and the cars help tie them together. A single vehicle can be enough to give a driveway a purpose. If you enjoy older cars and like adding practical details to a Minecraft settlement, Motorisation gives you a manageable collection to build around, one garage space at a time.
