You Cant Touch Grass Addon

If you watch any Minecraft YouTube challenges, you've definitely seen the "touch grass and you die" trend. Usually, trying to set that up for your own Bedrock realm means messing around with complicated command blocks or downloading broken data packs. The You Cant Touch Grass addon completely skips that headache, turning the whole concept into a ready-to-play multiplayer race.

The rules are exactly what the title says. If your character even slightly touches a grass block, you get wiped instantly. To prevent immediate spawn-trapping, the mod drops everyone into a frozen lobby first, where the floor is already safely converted to stone. From there, the host just pulls out the custom Race Menu Compass—or types /voxen:menu in the chat—to configure the match settings.

The actual gameplay is basically a massive survival speedrun. You select a goal item, like a diamond, emerald, or netherite ingot, and once the game starts, everyone unfreezes. You have to parkour over exposed stone, bridge across biomes, and head straight underground to secure the item before your friends do. It totally breaks normal early-game strategies since walking through a basic plains biome is now a massive hazard.

What makes this mod actually playable for groups is how customizable it is. If one-hit elimination is too sweaty for your friends, you can switch it over to a 3-Lives mode that includes a live scoreboard on the side of the screen to track who is still in. You can also disable PvP so nobody can cheese the game by punching players into the grass, and toggle Keep Inventory for a fairer run. Since the whole setup runs on pure vanilla mechanics, there are no experimental toggles required. That means Xbox achievements stay 100% enabled, so you can still grind standard trophies while running the challenge.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
