There’s a weird rumor that the Farlands Bumblebee is supposed to be some creepy, dread-inducing mob, but it is actually one of the most relaxing additions you can drop into a Bedrock world. Instead of chasing you down or acting hostile, this giant bee just floats around gently playing a little instrument.
You won't find it just wandering randomly, though. It exclusively spawns in vibrant floral biomes like the Meadow, Flower Forest, Sunflower Plains, and the Cherry Grove. If you happen to stumble across one while exploring, you definitely want to stop and hang around it for a bit. Just standing within a 16-block radius of the bee gives you maximum-level regeneration, which is a massive lifesaver if you just barely survived a skeleton ambush nearby.
The coolest mechanic is that it actually pays you for being an audience. If you chill and listen to its music for about 80 seconds, the bumblebee will drop a bunch of honey alongside some really valuable loot. Naturally, you’ll probably want to bring it back to your survival base so you can use it as a permanent healing station. Luckily, you don't have to awkwardly drag it across the map with a lead. You just need to craft a Honey Totem—one click on the bee and it goes straight into your inventory, letting you easily carry it home and place it wherever you want.
Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
