Three Strikes: Hardcore With 3 Lives Addon
Jumping into a true Hardcore mode in Minecraft Bedrock is always incredibly stressful because a single random creeper drop or a weird block glitch can instantly ruin months of progress. If you love the high stakes but hate losing everything to one dumb mistake, the Hardcore With 3 Lives Addon completely rebalances the experience to make it a bit more forgiving without actually ruining the challenge.

When you load into a new survival world with this installed, you aren't just trusting a hidden counter. The addon places three special, custom hearts directly in the center of your screen, right above your hotbar, so you always know exactly how many chances you have left.

Every time you die, one of those visual hearts permanently shatters. You still get the punishment of losing your items and having to run back to your death spot, but your world isn't instantly deleted. However, once you burn through that third and final life, the real hardcore mechanics kick in. Your world immediately becomes unplayable, and you are permanently locked out of the game, just like vanilla hardcore.



It is the perfect setup for a multiplayer realm with friends or a personal playthrough where you want just a tiny bit of a safety net. You still have to play incredibly carefully, but at least an accidental fall into lava on day two won't force you to completely restart the game from scratch.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
