Flashlight | Dynamic Handheld Beam | Terraria Accessories Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.26

The Flashlight Addon brings dynamic, directional lighting to Minecraft Bedrock, letting you illuminate deep caves without constantly spamming torches. It throws a realistic 9-block beam right where you look, keeping your hands free if you utilize the accessory slot.

Standard caving trips usually mean carrying stacks of torches and constantly slapping them onto walls just to see five feet ahead. It gets annoying, especially when you run out of coal mid-expedition. This Bedrock behavior pack fixes that headache by giving you a clean, metallic flashlight you can craft early on using iron, glass, redstone, and a single torch. Once it's in your inventory, it projects a smooth, real-time beam of light that follows your crosshair movement perfectly.

What sets this handheld flashlight Minecraft mod apart from older lighting packs is its flexibility. You can hold it in your main hand, throw it in your off-hand like a shield, or tuck it into a Terraria-style Accessory Pouch so it doesn’t hog any weapon or tool slots. The progressive light falloff looks surprisingly natural in dark deepslate biomes, and the script is coded cleanly enough to wipe out any temp light blocks if you drop into lava or log out. It’s an essential Minecraft survival mod for anyone sick of mining in pitch-black ravines.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
