Offhand Freedom Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.26

Offhand Freedom brings genuine Java-style offhand functionality straight into Minecraft Bedrock, letting you hold, place, and throw standard vanilla items without jumping through extra hoops. If you have been waiting for Bedrock to fix its restrictive offhand slot, this utility completely bridges that gap.

What makes this Minecraft Bedrock offhand addon so satisfying to use is that it operates strictly with vanilla items. You do not have to deal with weird custom recipes or messy inventory workarounds just to hold a bucket or torch in your offhand. Swapping gear is surprisingly fast during gameplay too—just double-crouch to instantly flip whatever is in your hands back and forth.

The practical utility changes how you build, mine, and farm on a daily basis. You can hold building blocks in your left hand while keeping your pickaxe primed in your right, while built-in dynamic lighting MCPE support illuminates dark caves automatically when holding glowing items. Farming also gets a massive boost, allowing you to plant crops with your offhand while holding a hoe in your main hand. You can even dump water buckets, toss Ender Pearls, throw snowballs, or splash XP bottles on the fly without changing your hotbar focus.

Because your main-hand tools maintain priority for mining, stripping logs, and tilling, controls never feel clunky or unresponsive. It feels like a feature Mojang should have added years ago, making it a staple Bedrock survival utility mod for any world.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
