Dynamic Lights + Offhand Support Mod / Addon

Dynamic Lights + Offhand Support Mod basically fixes two big Bedrock annoyances at once: dark caves where you can’t see a thing, and clunky “torch in hotbar, tool in hand” juggling. With this addon, the game finally treats a held light source like… an actual light source. Put a torch, glowstone, or other supported light item in your hand and the area around you brightens up as you walk, without you needing to spam torches on every wall. It feels way more like you’re actually walking around with a lantern instead of trying to guess where the next hole is.

The offhand torch support is where it really clicks for survival. You can put your torch in the left hand, keep your sword or pickaxe in the main hand, and just play normally. Mining a tunnel? Your pick is swinging, your torch in offhand is lighting the path. Clearing out a cave or ancient city? Sword or axe ready, light following you the whole time. You’re not pausing every few blocks to swap items just to see what’s in front of you.



It’s also super nice for builders. When you’re shaping big interiors, bridges, or cliff bases at night, you can walk the structure with a torch in offhand and see how the lighting feels before you ever place permanent lights. No guesswork, no sleeping to skip night every five minutes—just walk, look, adjust, keep building.

The addon is built for Bedrock and Pocket Edition from the ground up, so it slots into normal worlds and realms without wrecking performance or messing with your other packs. Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
