Medieval French brings two characters inspired by medieval France into Minecraft Bedrock: a royal knight and a king. It’s a small skin pack, but the two different roles make it a fun choice for a world you share with a friend. One of you can choose the Chevalier, the other can play as the Roi de France, and together you can build a kingdom, explore the countryside, or defend a village from whatever appears after dark.

The Royal Chevalier is a good choice if you like the idea of playing as a knight. Put on the skin, pick up a sword and shield, and head out from your castle to see what’s beyond the walls. Your destination could be a nearby village, a woodland mansion, or simply a hill where you want to build a watchtower. The skin gives your character an appearance that fits a medieval setting, whether you’re going into a fight or spending the evening gathering stone for a new section of the castle.

The King of France offers a different look for the same kind of world. You could make a royal hall with a long table, banners, and a seat at the far end, then use the skin for a character who lives there. If you play with a friend, the two skins give you an easy starting point for a story: a ruler and a knight setting out from their home. What happens next is up to you. Maybe you’ll explore together and return with supplies for the castle, or perhaps you’ll find a village that would make a good place to expand your settlement.

A medieval build doesn’t need to begin with an enormous fortress. Start with a small stone house, add a wall around the yard, and build a tower when you have enough materials. Later, you can make room for stables, farms, and a path leading to the village. The knight and king skins can help you picture who lives in the place while you’re working on it. Once the build is finished, invite a friend over and take a few screenshots at the gate or inside the hall. If you already have a castle in an older world, you can bring the skins there and give an existing project a new character.

The pack can be used outside roleplay too. A knight looks perfectly at home carrying a shield into a cave, while the king can spend an afternoon fishing or planting crops like any other Minecraft character. You might even find that the royal outfit makes an ordinary task more amusing: there’s something funny about a king searching through chests because he can’t remember where he left his cobblestone. Both skins can also be worn on adventure maps or in minigames when you want a medieval appearance.

Remember that the clothing shown on a skin doesn’t provide protection. If you’re heading into a fight, you’ll still need to craft and equip armor just as you normally would. The pack changes your character’s appearance and leaves you free to decide what kind of adventure to play. Choose the knight if you want to travel with sword and shield, pick the king if you’re ready to build a royal home, or share the two roles with a friend and create a kingdom together.

How to Install Skins in Minecraft Bedrock
- Download a .png skin (64×64 or 128×128).
- Open Minecraft Bedrock.
- Go to Profile (hanger icon) → Edit Character.
- Tap Owned → Import → Choose New Skin.
- Select your .png file.
- Pick a model: Classic (Steve) or Slim (Alex).
- Confirm to equip and play.
