Kepler World is a huge map with a custom world of 5000x5000 blocks. Hand-crafted terrain, mountains, biomes, and beautiful landscapes await you. Kepler World is a large survival map with enough room to wander before deciding where to settle. Its custom terrain stretches across roughly 5,000 by 5,000 blocks, with mountains, valleys, forests, deserts and snowy areas to explore. You can spend your first few days gathering supplies and looking for a home, then set off again whenever you’re ready to see what lies beyond the next ridge. The map is made for survival, so there are caves and ores beneath the surface as well as plenty of scenery above ground.
The landscape changes as you travel. You might begin by looking for a flat spot on the plains, then find yourself heading toward a forest or a colder region. The desert has its own variations, including a red desert and an area of mesa terrain. Those changes make choosing a place to build part of the adventure. A house in the snow will feel very different from a base overlooking a dry valley, even if both are in the same world. Take some time to look around before putting down a permanent home; there’s enough space here that your favorite location may be a little farther away than you expected.
Custom trees and valleys give the map its own character, and the mountains make useful landmarks when you’re finding your way around. You could build a cabin in the woods, lay out a village on the plains or find a hillside with a view and start digging into it. If you like larger projects, the varied terrain gives you room to connect different areas with roads, bridges or railway lines. A desert outpost could serve as a stop on a longer journey, while a snowy house might be somewhere to return to when you want a change of scenery. There’s no need to pick just one place and stay there.
Survival doesn’t end at the surface. Kepler World includes caves and the usual types of ore beneath the ground, so you can head underground for materials when it’s time to improve your tools and armor. As always, bring food and enough torches, and keep track of the way out. A mining trip can easily turn into a longer expedition when you find another passage to follow. Once you’re back above ground, you can put those resources toward a proper base or prepare for another trip across the map. Exploring with friends gives everyone a chance to choose a direction and bring back supplies for a shared settlement.
One thing to remember is that the custom terrain has an edge, with the void beyond it. Be careful if you travel that far, particularly when exploring an unfamiliar part of the map. Within those boundaries, though, there’s plenty of room to make your own plans. Kepler World works well for a relaxed building project, a long survival playthrough or a group world where each player settles in a different biome. Start with a small shelter, see where the paths and valleys take you, and let the rest of the world reveal itself as you travel.
