Overgrown Ruins: Apocalypse World Map
Let's be honest, vanilla zombies aren't really a threat once you craft a shield. If you want an actual survival horror experience in Bedrock, this Apocalypse map changes the whole vibe. It basically turns your game into something out of The Last of Us or Days Gone by dropping you into a massive, overgrown ruined city.
You will spend your time scavenging through abandoned buildings and shattered streets instead of just chopping wood in a forest. The map comes with custom weapons and infection mechanics already built in, so the difficulty is way higher than standard survival. The city design itself is great for setting up fortified bases on rooftops or hiding from the hordes down below.
Since the map already provides the post-apocalyptic wasteland, you just need a couple of add-ons to finish the setup. A decent tactical gun mod is pretty much mandatory if you want satisfying reloads and a better way to clear the streets. Adding a vaulting or movement addon is also a huge help, letting you easily climb over broken cars and jump across alleyways when things get out of control.
How to install?
Android: you need to find the downloaded file on your phone, use any file manager for this and import the map into the game by opening it.
IOS: after receiving the map, the device itself will offer to install it.
Windows 10: go to the folder where the files are downloaded, find mcworld there and activate it.
