Walk Straight Line Only Mod is one of those addons that looks simple on paper and then completely rewires how you play. The moment you spawn in, you realize something’s off: you physically can’t sidestep. No circling around trees, no weaving through hills, no casually dodging ravines. You’ve basically been locked onto one world line, and everything you do has to happen along that strip of blocks in front of you. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the overworld, the Nether, or the End—the rule is the same: you go forward, or you go back, but you don’t go around.



That single rule turns normal survival into a puzzle. Villages taunting you one block to the side? Too bad. Caves that don’t line up with your path? You’ll be digging straight down or building weird staircases to stay on your lane. Every tree, animal, ore vein, and structure that happens to spawn on your line suddenly matters way more than usual, because you can’t just wander off and “grab more later.” You plan your jumps, your bridges, even your water buckets differently, because misplacing a block can literally ruin your route.

The smart part is how the mod handles progression. Since you can’t build the usual frame around a portal, Walk Straight Line Only Mod gives you craftable portals so you can still reach the Nether and the End without breaking the challenge. That keeps the “beat the dragon” goal alive while forcing you to think like a challenge runner the whole time. On a solo world it feels like a hardcore YouTube idea come to life, and on a server it’s hilarious watching everyone try to share the same cursed line without trolling each other into lava.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
