Beyond Storage & Smelting Mod is basically for players who look at a wall of regular chests and think, “yeah… this is getting out of control.” It builds on the normal storage and smelting loop by adding new furnaces, advanced chests, and furnace upgrades, so your base can scale up without turning into a messy warehouse. It also includes translations in Portuguese and English, which is a nice touch if you’re playing with friends who use different languages.



The chest progression is the main headline here, and it’s easy to feel the difference fast. You start with bigger storage options like the Iron Chest at 54 slots, then push into higher tiers like Golden Chest at 72, Amethyst Chest at 90, Emerald Chest at 108, Diamond Chest at 126, and the Netherite Chest all the way up at 144 slots. That kind of capacity jump changes how you build your base because you can stop making “random dump chests” and actually keep categories clean without needing twenty separate containers.



Some chests also add extra utility instead of just more slots. The Magnetic Chest keeps 54 slots but comes with a magnet ability that can pull items within a 10x10 radius, which is perfect for busy areas where items tend to scatter everywhere. The Obsidian Chest has 126 slots and is explosion resistant, and the Netherite Chest stacks even more protection on top of its 144 slots with explosion resistance plus immunity to fire and lava. If you’ve ever lost your storage to a bad explosion chain or an accident near lava, those defensive options are the kind of thing you appreciate immediately.

On the smelting side, Beyond Storage & Smelting Mod adds 8 types of furnaces and 4 furnace upgrades, so it’s clearly trying to make the “process stuff at home” part of survival feel more like real progression instead of the same single furnace forever. Practical tip: don’t rush to upgrade everything at once. Pick one storage lane first—like ores and building blocks—then scale outward, and put any magnetic setup somewhere you won’t accidentally vacuum up drops you meant to leave on the ground. Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
