Crafting Tables Addon is one of those builder-friendly upgrades that feels obvious the second you use it. Instead of every base having the exact same default crafting table forever, this addon turns the crafting table into a dynamic decorative block that matches the wood type you craft it with. So if you craft a crafting table using a specific wood plank type, the table’s appearance, texture, and overall style will switch to match that wood. The best part is it stays fully functional as a crafting table—the change is visual only—so you’re not trading looks for usability.
It supports all 12 current wood types in Minecraft Bedrock, with a note that new updates may add more. That includes the usual overworld woods plus bamboo, crimson, and warped, and it even mentions Pale Oak if your version includes it. In real survival play, this is perfect for themed bases where you’re already choosing materials on purpose. A cherry build can finally have a table that doesn’t look like it got dragged in from an oak starter hut, and a mangrove swamp base doesn’t have to break its palette with that default texture sitting in the middle of your workshop.
The addon recommends installing in new worlds because crafting tables placed before installation keep their default appearance unless you replace them. That’s not a dealbreaker, it just means if you’re adding it to an existing world, you’ll probably want to pick up and re-place the tables in your main base so everything matches. Once it’s in, the workflow is simple: craft a crafting table using any wood planks, place it, and it shows the unique model/texture for that plank type.
It also calls out strong compatibility: it works with structure addons, biome addons, and visual packs, and it doesn’t require experimental toggles. Achievements remain enabled, and it’s meant to work across Survival, Creative, and Multiplayer. Practical tip: if you’re building big villages or themed districts, keep a small “workshop chest” with the specific planks for that area so you can craft matching tables on-site and keep the look consistent instead of mixing styles by accident. Crafting Tables Addon is basically a clean Minecraft Bedrock building polish pack that makes crafting tables finally blend into your builds the way they always should have.
