Posters + Mod / Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21

Posters + Mod is built around a simple loop that actually fits survival really well: fight common mobs, roll for rare drops, then flex your collection back at base. The addon adds posters featuring players’ favorite movies, and you earn them the survival way—by killing Zombies and Skeletons for a chance at a poster drop. That alone turns nighttime roaming and cave clearing into more than just “get XP and move on,” because now there’s a collector’s chase baked into your usual combat.

The cool part is how it changes what you do with your base. Instead of stuffing trophies into chests and forgetting them, Posters + Mod pushes you to display your finds. With the wooden base poster model, it’s clearly meant to look like an actual decoration piece, not some random item you never place. So your survival house can slowly turn into a gallery wall, a hallway of prizes, or even a themed room where you hang up your rarest pulls.

In practice, this mod shines when you play it like a long-term side quest. You’re not supposed to “finish” it in one session. You’re out exploring, you hear mobs, you take the fights, and every so often you get that lucky drop that makes you want to head home and mount it. If you’re doing survival nights or grinding a mob-heavy area, it gives you a reason to keep going even when you already have enough rotten flesh and bones.

A smart tip is to build a dedicated display spot early, even if it’s just a simple wall in your starter base. That way every new poster has a place to go, and you’ll actually feel your progress instead of letting posters pile up in storage. Since Posters + Mod is described as fully compatible with other add-ons, it also fits into bigger modded worlds where you’re already juggling systems, because it’s basically a collectible layer on top of normal gameplay. With 36 posters to collect to date, Posters + Mod is the kind of addon that makes your world feel more personal over time, one lucky drop at a time.
