Night Guard Shield Mod / Addon

Night Guard Shield Addon is an automatic shield that provides useful effects to your character when there is danger nearby. You’re mining in a dark cave when a skeleton steps out and starts shooting. Night Guard Shield gives you an automatic boost when hostile mobs get close, helping you take a hit, recover, and move before the fight gets worse.

Despite its name, Night Guard Shield works as a set of survival effects rather than a confirmed new shield you need to craft and carry. The effects are temporary and are cleared when the danger is gone. There’s no need to stop in the middle of a fight to drink three separate potions; the protection kicks in automatically when enemies are nearby.

Those bonuses can be especially handy underground. Caves don’t always give you a clean view of what’s ahead, and a mining trip can turn into a scramble when mobs approach from different directions. Resistance may help you withstand an unexpected attack, while Regeneration gives you a way to recover as you deal with the threat. Speed can help you move behind a wall, reach a safer passage, or put some distance between you and a group of mobs. You’ll still want torches, food, and decent equipment—the addon gives you help, but a bad position can still be dangerous.

Nighttime exploration gets a little less punishing, too. Maybe you’re returning from a long trip with your inventory full and the sun goes down before you reach home. Instead of having to make every fight a desperate stand, the extra movement speed can help you get around an enemy and keep going. If you do take damage, Regeneration gives you a chance to recover while the threat remains close. That doesn’t mean you should sprint blindly through a field full of creepers, but it can give you a better shot at getting your supplies back safely.

The effects respond to nearby hostile mobs, not simply the time of day. That makes the addon useful in daylight as well as after sunset: a dark room, a cave entrance, or another dangerous encounter can put the bonuses to work. Once the hostile threat is gone, the effects disappear, so don’t count on keeping that speed boost for the rest of your journey. The description doesn’t specify an exact detection distance or effect strength, so it’s best to get a feel for the system as you play.

Night Guard Shield is marked as achievement friendly and fits players who want a little extra support without leaving survival behind. It won’t replace careful movement or turn every encounter into an easy win, but those three automatic effects can make a messy fight easier to manage. Keep your sword ready, watch where you’re going, and use that extra speed when the cave starts getting crowded.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
