See-Through Mining: X-ray Pickaxe Addon
Strip mining is painfully slow, especially when you are just digging through endless deepslate hoping to randomly bump into some diamonds. If you are tired of wasting hours tunneling blindly, this X-ray Pickaxe basically gives you legal wallhacks in your survival world. The biggest advantage here is that it is totally achievement-friendly, meaning you can cheat the mining system without actually disabling your vanilla progression.

You don't have to mess around with complicated settings or toggle invisible textures to make it work. Once you craft the tool, you just start mining normally. Whenever you break a block with it, the addon instantly transforms all the surrounding stone, deepslate, granite, tuff, and diorite into clear glass. It completely hollows out your field of view underground, leaving all the valuable ores and hidden structures perfectly exposed.



Since your screen is going to be filled with a massive amount of glass blocks, lighting can get a bit weird down in the caves. Pairing this with a glowing ores texture pack is a really good idea so the diamonds and gold actually pop out against all the transparency. You will also want to keep a standard Fortune pickaxe in your hotbar to actually harvest the ores once this custom tool reveals their locations.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
