Flare Gun Addon

Exploring massive caves in Bedrock is always a pain because you have to physically walk into pitch-black areas just to place a torch. That usually ends up with a skeleton shooting you off a ledge or a creeper dropping on your head from a dark corner you couldn't see. The Flare Gun addon completely changes how you handle deep underground exploration by letting you light up huge ravines and mineshafts from a safe distance.
Once you craft the gun and have the ammo in your inventory, it fires a projectile that flies fast like an arrow and sticks directly to whatever surface it hits. It doesn't just place a boring, static light source. The flare actually sparks and smokes while it burns, keeping the surrounding area fully lit for a solid two minutes before burning out and eventually despawning, so it doesn't leave a mess of blocks everywhere.
It is incredibly useful for scouting terrain before you commit to jumping down, but it also doubles as a decent ranged weapon. If you shoot a zombie or a spider hiding in the dark, the flare deals direct fire damage and briefly sets them ablaze.
The setup is extremely survival-friendly because the gun itself doesn't even have a durability bar. You craft it once using some basic iron, copper, and redstone, and it lasts forever. You just need to keep crafting the ammo, which is cheap to mass-produce since throwing gunpowder, paper, and redstone into a crafting table gives you eight flares at a time.
